It’s been an Incredible Year!

We’ve made some significant strides in improving the A2B Tracking software platform for both government and commercial users. Our product goals continue to focus on improved asset management for our users while saving them time and maintaining the precision required for audit readiness.

1– We’ve reinforced our Property Management System capabilities to support Government Property Managers.

2– We’ve enhanced our RFID asset tracking capabilities for real-time asset visibility and significant time savings.

3– We’ve partnered with Deltek in order to offer integration to the Costpoint platform and provide Costpoint users with enhanced asset management capabilities to meet FAR 52.245-1, improved WAWF data exchange and to leverage advanced barcode and RFID technology.

1. Government Property Asset Management

In 2018, we put a laser focus on our Government Property Management capabilities to help property managers achieve and sustain 100% Audit Readiness.

New product features include:

• Automation of inventory schedules to PCARSS
  UC! Web, now features an automated PCARSS module that simplifies and automates the creation of inventory schedules.  With this module, government property managers are able to quickly generate a properly formatted output file to easily upload into PCARSS.
• Mobile computing that uses Smartphones and Tablets to manage inventories and other key property management functions anywhere
  UC! Web now operates using a browser on many Windows Mobile tablets, Samsung Android Smartphones and Zebra TC25 and TC51 Rugged Smartphones which connects via Bluetooth to the Zebra RFD8500 to manage critical asset management features such as locate assets, check in and check out, cycle counts and much more.
• Contracts Management feature improvements
  UC! Web now manages property and acquisition contract data as required by Wide Area Workflow and automates the data exchange with WAWF and the IUID Registry. Improved automation of DD250s and DD1149s saves significant time in creating printable government forms required for shipments as well.

Our goal as a Product Team is to help you save time AND improve visibility of key assets.

Our powerful asset tracking engine can track inventory 30x faster than a manual process and improve the inventory accuracy to 99% or better.

Hands-Free RFID Asset Tracking

The first new hardware component in 2018 that connects to the A2B Tracking software platform and improves visibility, speed and accuracy of the movement of assets of all types is the Fixed RFID Gateway from Impinj.

When you deploy fixed readers with the A2B Tracking software platform, Asset Managers will receive continuous hand-free monitoring of the movement of assets.

With readers installed at egresses or choke points such as doorways or key areas of a warehouse or office, always-on asset tracking and monitoring will provide users with the last known location of the asset as well as the direction that the asset is moving.

A2B Tracking platform allows for tracking of single items or many items on a cart, on a pallet jack or on a forklift as they flow throughout the area of operation.

Mobile RFID Asset Tracking

Another new hardware component that connects to the A2B Tracking software platform and operates using a browser on smartphones and tablets is the Zebra RFD8500 which manages critical asset tracking features such as locate assets, check in and check out, cycle counts and more.

A major time saver is the new A2B Tracking proprietary Pro-Locate™ feature which leverages the RFD8500 and your smartphone or tablet to efficiently search entire facilities to find a specific asset either inside or outside your facility.

Combining Fixed and Mobile RFID Technology with the A2B Tracking Platform

Whether you’re using fixed readers or not, the A2B Tracking platform with a tablet or Smartphone and the Zebra RFD8500 will save significant labor hours when trying to find key assets. Adding fixed readers, gives you the best of both worlds in asset visibility using RFID asset tags because they allow your organization to significantly narrow the search area when you know the last known location seen by the fixed reader. Our mobile Pro-Locate feature then finds the asset within minutes, maybe seconds.

 

3. Deltek Costpoint Integration

Finally, we are very excited about the opportunity and honored to be included in the Deltek Partner Marketplace. Deltek Costpoint is the leading ERP software for government contractors to manage project accounting and enable financial accountability.

Being able to combine A2B Tracking’s asset management capabilities alongside Costpoint’s project-based enterprise software is a win for everyone. This integration will provide improved asset management capabilities with advanced barcode and RFID technology to track assets more quickly and accurately. It will also provide the Government Property Manager a full asset lifecycle management solution for 100% DCMA compliance to FAR 52.245-1 with automated data exchange to government systems.
