UC! Web™ Validator

If you have access to the internet and a 2-Dimensional barcode scanner you can sign up for our free web-based application that validates IUIDs and checks the existence of entries in the IUID Registry.

UC! Web™ Validator enables scanning and interpreting of Data Matrix barcodes, marks and tags that meet MIL STD 130 and the IUID Policy. It provides the user with two key functions to provide a reliable IUID quality check. First, the Validator inspects the syntax of any UII to confirm the validation of the IUID mark – providing either a “Valid” or “Not Valid” designation. Furthermore, Validator provides an analysis of which elements failed to meet the MIL STD 130 requirements and provides further details to help you resolve those errors. Secondly, UC! Web Validator will also check the status of your IUID and whether it has been properly reported to the IUID Registry.

To use Validator, simply scan the IUID with a 2D Barcode scanner. Validator will output the machine readable code, the concatenated human readable unique item identifier, and each of the elements within the coded IUID. If the IUID is valid it will search the IUID Registry and provide a status for that specific mark.

Please understand, this free software provides Validation of your IUID mark. There is no Verification process with this free version.
