Make sure that your IUID program is accurate and efficient. Government contractors today are being pressured to move faster, more efficiently and with fewer errors than ever before. Contractors that need to maintain compliance to IUID regulations need to understand the details of MIL-STD-130 and DFARS 252.211-7003 and how to properly identify, label and report government assets. Program managers need to leverage modern technology to keep up with these tough contract obligations in order to pass audits.
In this webinar, Dan will discuss the recent DFARS 252.245-7005 clause and how it might impact your IUID program. Dan will also explore the new requirement for reporting lifecycle transactions within a 7-business day time period and what that means for Government contractors. Furthermore, he will discuss the benefits of leveraging IUID Compliance technology and automated reporting to streamline this process.
The IUID Policy has been in place for decades. This Item Unique Identification (or IUID) Policy was developed by the Department of Defense to allow for the unique identification of assets. MIL-STD-130 is the military standard that provides details for this asset marking requirement. The ultimate goal of the IUID Policy is to modernize this asset identification process and provide accountability to ensure that every single item has a unique ID# and that all of the required asset information is properly recorded in the IUID Registry.
As we move towards 2026, it’s obvious that the Defense Department is very focused on improving accountability. Government contractors need to understand the importance of asset identification and reporting as well as be able to implement efficient processes to be able to comply with these Military IUID regulations. Understanding the details of MIL-STD-130 and DFARS 252.211-7003 and how to properly identify, label and report government assets has never been more important. Don’t miss this live webinar on October 29th. Dan will be answering questions from the audience in this interactive, workshop session.
