2023 ProMat — Zebra RFID Demo Video
The A2B Tracking team ran RFID demonstrations in the Zebra booth during the ProMat show to showcase our RFID Asset Management platform.
The Fixed RFID demo features the Zebra FX9600 Fixed Readers mounted on a Zebra RFID Portal to provide 100% autonomous reading. The Zebra portal acted as a simulated Dock door, that might be found in a Manufacturing or Logistics operation. Rolling a pallet jack stacked full of boxes through the RFID portal allowed us to autonomously receive these items in real time. All of the items that went through the dock portal were instantly captured by the fixed RFID readers and then the data was immediately updated in the software system to provide an updated location and date/time stamp.
The Mobile RFID demo features the Zebra RFD40 handheld paired with the Zebra TC26 mobile computer to demonstrate powerful and fast mobile inventories. This RFID handheld reader combination allows us to use the A2B RFID Tracker app that connects to the secure, cloud-based asset tracking platform. With a few simple clicks the warehouse employee can perform a highly accurate and error-free inventory on the spot. This video also demonstrates the A2B Tracking Pro-Locate feature which allows a user to find a specific missing asset in seconds.

The Zebra RFID Demo that we provided at ProMat showcased the power of Passive UHF RFID. This demo showed how organizations that leverage Fixed or Mobile RFID solutions, or both, have the ability to perform incredibly fast and accurate inventories. For this demonstration we focused on receiving functions – but clearly this technology can be applied across the warehouse, manufacturing facility, laboratory and office.
