Performing inventories inside of Controlled Secure environments can be incredibly challenging due to the high level of security with electronic devices such as handheld computers. Typically, inventory managers are unable to automate their inventories inside of these areas – resorting to clipboard and pen. Until now.
A2B Tracking and Zebra Technologies have collaborated to develop a revolutionary, advanced RFID and Barcode Inventory solution for high security environments. Providing wall-to-wall physical inventory control leveraging modern Auto-ID technologies to create robust audit histories – operating while completely disconnected from any wireless network.
The Controlled Secure Mobile RFID reader with the A2B Tracker app provides modern data encryption at-rest and in-transit. Furthermore, the secure handheld device has been factory disconnected and disabled to only exchange data with a unique networked dock cradle. Allowing the user to perform encrypted mobile RFID and Barcode inventories inside of the secure environment and record all inventory information without the ability to transmit any data. The user can then exit the secure area and dock the mobile device into the networked cradle to take advantage of the powerful A2B Tracking Asset Management platform.
RFID solution for controlled secure facilities
Taking advantage of the latest Zebra Mobile RFID technology with the A2B RFID Tracker app provides the user with a modern inventory management solution designed specifically for Controlled Secure Environments. Perform fast and accurate inventories inside of controlled secure areas with confidence as all of the data is encrypted on the handheld device while the inventory is being performed.
Once out of the secure area, the Zebra MC3330xR scanner can only connect to a unique networked dock cradle to exchange data; all other data transmission capabilities have been factory disabled and secured.
